DiviGear comes with 2 Divi layouts. The installation process is the same for both layouts. Let’s get started and install the layout.
Prerequisite:
You need to have the Divi Theme installed on your website.
Step 1: Download the Layout file
- Log in here – https://www.divigear.com/account/
- Navigate to “Downloads” on my account page.
- From the list of products, find the layout and click “Download Zip File.”
This will start the download process and will take a couple of seconds. Once the download is completed, move on to the next step.
Step 2: Unzip the downloaded file
Now unzip the downloaded file on your computer. You will find multiple files inside the unzipped folder.
Step 3: Upload Files to WordPress
- Upload the JSON file to your Divi library according to your needs (Example: All Layouts, Home, About, Service, Blog, Contact, etc.).
Note: Don’t include files like Customizer Settings, Theme builder templates, or additional CSS.
- Upload the Customizer_Settings file in Theme Customizer.
- Then, upload the Theme builder template File inside the Theme Builder option.
- Now open (if any) the additional_css.txt file select all and copy. Paste it into your Additional CSS or Divi custom CSS field.
- Create a page and select the layout from your library.
Save everything and check the front end. You will find layouts are showing perfectly.
