Can I use DiviGear 5 Beta on live sites?

We don’t recommend it. Beta builds are meant for testing and may contain bugs. When our beta releases, use Divi 5 and DiviGear Beta on a staging or test environment until stable versions are available.

When will Divi 5 be released?

Divi 5 is being rolled out in phases. The Public Alpha launched on September 30, 2024, followed by the Public Beta on October 17, 2025. The final release will arrive once all feedback from the Beta phase has been addressed. No exact release date has been announced yet, but DiviGear will be ready from day one.

How do I upgrade from Divi 4 to Divi 5?

To upgrade during the Alpha/Beta stages, install the Divi 5 Public Alpha/Beta and use the built-in Divi 5 Migrator tool. It scans your site, converts compatible content, preserves layouts, and even lets you revert to Divi 4 if needed. Always test on a staging site first. Once the final version of Divi 5 is released, upgrading will work like a normal theme update through the WordPress dashboard.
